It helps to get out....

I spend a lot of time indoors when I'm sewing. So, it's good to get away for a couple of days and do something completely different. This afternoon, I'm heading up to Gifford Pinchot National Forest with a team from the Great Old Broads for Wilderness for two days of service work for the Trout Lake Forest District, using GPS to identify and locate Golden Chinquapin trees. These trees are found mostly in Oregon and California, but the small population in Southern Washington is endangered. Hopefully, we are coming to the rescue!
