The "before and after...."
I really love the transformation that a piece of furniture undergoes with a slipcover. Just installed this morning, this chair is one of a pair in a lovely upstairs bedroom in a charming Old Portland home.
The fabric is a woven gingham check with a crisp hand and firm drape. The hems are secured to the bottom of the chair with hook & loop tape. This makes the chairs look re-upholstered while still allowing for easy removal for cleaning.
